HOME LEARNING

For home learning, please do the following:
  1. Complete 20 minutes of reading every night  - more if you really enjoy it. There's no limit to how much reading you can do!
  2. Visit Mathletics and complete the activities to support our learning in class. When these are finished, jump on Live Mathletics and practise some basic facts. You can do this for 15-20 minutes, 2 to 3 x per week.
  3. An additional task that you may be given. This could be spelling words, a piece of writing or an aspect of grammar you are learning about, or, some inquiry learning.
Extra home learning:
  1. Challenge yourself and see if you can complete the weekly quizzes. If you don't know the answers you can search for them in the news or talk to family members. Bring the quiz answers in to be marked!
  2. Work on your Maths/Science Badges or your Ilam Homework Badge. Book a time to present completed ones to the class!
