SPENCER PARK

Spencer Park
By Zac
On Tuesday 21st November all the seniors went on a trip to spencer park, it was amazing! There was a little pool (which we didn’t get to use) lots of playgrounds, monkey bars, volleyball court etc. We got a sausage and you got to choose from vegetarian, pork, and others. You could only have two sausages each, but there were heaps of leftovers, so you could have more. While we were at Spencer Park we played games such as: virus, volleyball, capture the flag and lots more games! We also had morning tea but we had to bring our own. My favorite part of Spencer Park is the flying saucers. It’s amazing! There were different types of flying saucers such as a short one, a long one and a medium one. If you came I hope that you had as much fun as I did and if you didn’t come I hope you do get to visit Spencer Park one day!

Messages from the children in Room 3:

Thank you very much parents, for coming and helping, without you we wouldn’t have as much fun (Ron).

Thank you for playing games with us like capture the flag (Erin).

I had a good time (Grace).

Thanks for the help and support and the tips that you offered along the way (Finn)

Thank you for coming and playing with us (Rayan).

DAY 25 of FUN

Today in the 26 days of Christmas fun it was…

Biscuit day!

Mrs Dykstra kindly provided materials and the fun day started!
Each of us got 1 biscuit and globbed on pink, green or white icing; some of us even chose 2!
Then we went to the topping table and loaded up on sprinkles m&ms and mini marshmallows,
our creations looked almost as good as they tasted!

After the toppings were exhausted Finn, Clara and Hannah dug into the leftover icing but crafty Mrs Dykstra put a price on it …  CLEANING THE TABLES! (well played teacher, well played).

FUN FUN FUN by Clara and Hannah

Room 3 is a zoo! Stuffed toys are stampeding all over their work!

Mrs Dykstra has introduced a new activity to the class - 26 days of fun activities before Christmas. As the end of school in 2017 is nearing (and so is Christmas). Mrs Dykstra now puts on an activity every day. Today we have stuffed toys.

Emma has brought along a purple giraffe accurately named Mr Purple. He loves to draw!

Sharukh has brought along 'Killer', a leopard who poops stuffing.

Zac has brought along the big blue eyed Waddles! He's one year old from Farmers. Zac has been his best friend since he got him.

Mary is the little lamb Sienna has brought. It likes to jump.

Princess Bear is a light pink bear with stylish green ribbon and necklace. She loves to sleep - who doesn't?

Vixie the baby vixen loves to hunt and play around. Nethira made her! Santa dog is the loyal dog that loves to ride in a reindeer-free sleigh. He has a Santa hat. Arjuna brought him along.

The long-legged Rando is extremely clumsy and enjoys trying to stand up for over 5 seconds. He belongs to Hannah.

"Hello, my name is Gilda! I have a Southern accent. Oh my gosh, I just love to eat shrimp cookies! I mean like, oh ma gash!" It's Clara's flamingo.

"Hello. Hi. I have a big nose. It's cold! I have no fingers so I can't do chess or maths, which is sad. I have a pink bow on my tail I can put on my head to look stylish. I love oats. I love oats, oats!" Eeyore has told us. Ron brought him along.

George is a gorilla who hibernates in the wardrobe. Felix brought him along.

As you can see every soft toy is enjoying themselves. They've made friends and attempted to draw each other.

The kids need to crack a code in binary to find out what tomorrow's activity is!

Here is tomorrow's code:

00010 01001 10011 00011 10101 01001 10100 00100 00001 11001
