CALENDAR ART
The calendar art is now ready for viewing in Room 3. Details about recording will be available soon but you can pop in anytime and have a look at your child's work.
WEEKLY BLOG REPORTERS: Genevieve and Basit
In room 3 we have 2 blog reporters each week and it's our job to recognise the interesting things we see every day and report them to the blog.
Working on our winter self art piece.
The life education bus has arrived at Ilam School with lots of teaching to spread all around. In life education we learnt about our values and the fact that your values take you above the line in life. We learnt that it was not wrong to feel different feelings. The most important thing is to react well to those feelings.
Welcome our new teacher Mrs Dykstra.
Snap seed is a digital photography app that allows you to modify your pictures into what you want them to be. Examples of what they allow you to do are: temperature colours, frame, drama, pose, curve, vintage and lots more. It is a really fun app to use and I love it.
We went to gymnastics on Wednesday and Thursday. We learnt different challenging moves that took a lot of practice. We were split into different groups then given an amount of time to practice our moves, then each group was selected to perform what they had practised.

WELCOME TO TERM 3
Welcome back to Term 3! I'm looking forward to meeting you all and working with your children. A little about me - I enjoy the outdoors and like to go tramping and camping. My husband and I love to travel. I'm originally from Scotland, Glasgow, and came to NZ when I was 10 years old. We have two dogs, Molly and Winston and my husband has two daughters, Emma and Piper. I began teaching in 2007 and love the challenges and rewards it brings.
